7-Day Investment Tour in the Dominican Republic

Objective: Purchase of a residential property for investment purposes

DAY 1 – ARRIVAL AND RELAXATION

Arrival in Punta Cana.
Airport meet and greet followed by transfer to the hotel or apartment.
Check-in and accommodation.

The rest of the day is free time to rest after the journey, enjoy the beach, pool, or spa.

The evening is free with no scheduled activities.

Goal of the day: adaptation, relaxation, and first contact with the Dominican Republic.

DAY 2 – LIFESTYLE AND INITIAL INTRODUCTION

The morning begins with breakfast and free time for the beach, a walk in Bávaro or Punta Cana, and getting familiar with the area.

In the afternoon, an optional short panoramic tour is organized to introduce participants to the beaches, tourist infrastructure, restaurants, and shopping areas.

In the evening, the official opening of the investment tour takes place. A welcome meeting and networking session is organized for the participants, including an introduction to the team and the full program for the upcoming days.

This is followed by an introductory presentation explaining why the Dominican Republic is an attractive investment destination, the connection between tourism and real estate income, and an overview of the areas, projects, and opportunities that will be explored during the tour.

Dinner or a cocktail reception is held in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Goal of the day: comfort, trust, and a smooth introduction to the investment topic.

DAY 3 – REAL ESTATE MARKET AND INVESTMENT STRATEGY

The morning is dedicated to an investment seminar with a general overview of the Dominican real estate market. Key investment zones such as Punta Cana, Bávaro, Cap Cana, and Vista Cana are presented, along with market trends and forecasts, tax incentives under the CONFOTUR program, and the main costs and taxes related to property ownership.

The afternoon is reserved for individual consultations and analysis of the previously completed questionnaires. Based on this information, the investment objective, preferred property type, and strategy are defined, whether short-term rentals, Airbnb, long-term rentals, capital appreciation, or resale.

DAY 4 – PROPERTY VIEWINGS AND INVESTMENT PROJECTS

Visits are organized to selected investment projects, including both completed developments and projects currently under construction.

All viewings are planned according to the individual interests, budget, and investment goals indicated in the questionnaire completed before the start of the tour.

The focus is on real rental income potential, different investment scenarios, comparisons between property types and locations, as well as property management and full service options.

DAY 5 – PREMIUM LOCATIONS AND LONG-TERM POTENTIAL

Premium locations such as Cap Cana and Vista Cana are visited, including gated communities, master-planned developments, golf courses, beach clubs, and modern infrastructure.

In the afternoon, meetings are organized with developers and project managers where different payment structures are presented and the long-term investment potential and capital appreciation of the projects are analyzed.

DAY 6 – LEGAL PROCESS, FINANCE AND DECISION MAKING

The morning is dedicated to the legal and financial aspects of the investment. The property purchase procedure is explained step by step, including preliminary agreements, deposits, payment schedules, the role of the notary, and the mechanisms that protect foreign investors.

Real examples of return on investment (ROI), expected income, costs, and property payback timelines are also presented.

The afternoon is reserved for the final property selection, optional reservation or deposit, and planning of the next steps for completing the transaction, including the possibility of finishing the purchase remotely if necessary.

In the evening, a closing dinner and networking event are organized, including a summary of the tour and personalized recommendations for each participant.

DAY 7 – DEPARTURE

Departure according to the individual flight schedules of the participants.
Check-out from the hotel or apartment and transfer to Punta Cana International Airport.
Assistance is provided if needed.

The program for the day is fully adapted according to flight schedules.
